The Grants Management team is dedicated to managing all financial aspects of the Clinical Research Site in Blantyre, Malawi. Our primary role is to ensure compliance with grants rules and regulations, while overseeing complex institutional budgets and multi-component sub-award agreements with both local and international partners.

Financial Oversight

Our team provides comprehensive financial oversight and services for all contract activities associated with our site. The Grants Management department is led by our Chief Accountant and supported by a capable team of five staff members that are highly-experienced with QuickBooks professional accounting software; they support invoicing, payroll management, receipt reconciliations, foreign currency applications and audit preparations.

Every dollar we receive is aimed at supporting science that enhances the health of local and global communities. Ensuring every dollar from our funding partners is utilized appropriately extends beyond ethics to responsible science and a commitment to excellence.
